Shalom Center Helps Seminarians

Shalom Center again this year provided a human formation workshop for the seminarians of Assumption Seminary in San Antonio at the request of Rector Father Jeffrey Pehl.
Father Tom Thomas and Dr. Eileen Barbella, both fulltime staff of Shalom Center, presented two workshops to the seminarians on the topic of “A Priests’ View of the Gift of Celibacy” and “Fidelity and Chastity.”
The sessions were provided to both the college level seminarians and those in the theology school. Over 80 seminarians attended the programs.
