This is a comprehensive psychological assessment program with a wholistic focus. The objective of this process is to assist a person in self-understanding as well as to identify problematic issues that need to be addressed to enable a person to minister more effectively.
It includes clinical and personal interviews, a battery of psychological tests, spiritual and addiction profiles, psychiatric assessment (when indicated) and physical examination. If applicable, vocational testing, neuropsychological testing and specialized testing are available. |

This program includes the above as well as individual counseling and an educational component. It allows for rest, renewal and time to retreat from the everyday pressures of ministry.
In both programs, the Assessment team discusses the results and recommendations with the evaluee at the end of the assessment process. A written report is provided to the evaluee as well as the designated leadership person or Diocesan representative provided written consent is obtained.
To schedule an assessment, please contact Shalom Center. |
